What a great day to start our second month of CCD–All Saints’ Day, November 1!
Our CCD class has learned about “The Feast of the Guardian Angels,” Saint Francis, and Thérèse of Lisieux. We have also learned about three angels who are saints–Saint Michael, Saint Rafael, and Saint Gabriel, who the children know brought the joyful news to Mary that she was going to give birth to the Son of God. The three angels’ Saints’ Day was on September 29, but we learned about them this past Sunday to prepare for the story of “The Annunciation” of Mary as we get close to Advent.
