For Parents to Teach To Their Children
Today, September 8, is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please talk to your children about the following words: Feast, Nativity, Blessed Virgin, Symbol. With young children, I define “virgin” as a young woman who is not married. Today is a good day to remember the Holy Family and the importance of grandparents. Mary’s parents were St. Joachim and St. Anna. Have a lovely day with your family. Invite your children to draw or paint a picture of Mary, as a baby or child.
