“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,

and my spirit rejoices in God my savior,

for he has looked with favor on me.

From now on all generations will called me blessed.

For the mighty has done great things for me,

and holy is his name.”

Our  Gospel Readings

USCCB Jn 19:25-27

“Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
‘Behold, your mother.’
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.”

Or,

USCCB Lk 2:33-35

 “Jesus’ father and mother were amazed at what was said about him;
and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,
‘Behold, this child is destined
for the fall and rise of many in Israel,
and to be a sign that will be contradicted
and you yourself a sword will pierce
so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.'”

Blessed FIRST RECONCILIATION Page 10

“Hail, Holy Queen Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!” Amen.
