For Parents To Teach To Their Children

“A SACRAMENT IS A SACRED SIGN; IT IS AN ACTION OF JESUS CHRIST IN WHICH HE GIVES HIS LIFE AND SHOWS US WHAT HE IS DOING FOR US IN HIS CHURCH. A SACRAMENT IS A SIGN OF OUR FAITH AND LOVE FOR GOD AS MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY”

“The Transfiguration of Jesus”

Mark, Chapter 9:2-9

“Jesus took Peter, James, and John
and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves.
And he was transfigured before them,
and his clothes became dazzling white,
such as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
Then Elijah appeared to them along with Moses,
and they were conversing with Jesus.
Then Peter said to Jesus in reply,
‘Rabbi, it is good that we are here!
Let us make three tents:
one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.’
He hardly knew what to say, they were so terrified.
Then a cloud came, casting a shadow over them;
then from the cloud came a voice,
‘This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”
Suddenly, looking around, the disciples no longer saw anyone
but Jesus alone with them.'”

Our Art Project–Make a “Seven Sacraments” Poster

This is a homemade, “easy-peasy” poster that can be made at home using whatever art supplies at you have on hand. This one was made on watercolor paper with watercolor paints. However, cardboard, brown paper, or sturdy construction paper can be used for making the “Seven Sacraments” poster. The goal of this project is to learn the names of the Sacraments and their meaning.
