Beautiful Jerusalem Cross
I saw this magnificent, modern stained glass window in a beautiful church in Jerusalem on my visit in June. I fell in love with the strong graphic art of the many variations of the Jerusalem Cross. The design of the Jerusalem Cross is very old and originated during the Crusades about 1000 years ago. You can draw one with your children. I used regular drawing paper and gel crayons. The gel crayons are quicker than wax crayons or markers and have a lovely feel to them. Here is my sample:
